Od mladih čokota iz njihovih vinograda zasađenih u Šumadiji, ovo vino je zapravo pušteno u prodaju u jesen 2022. godine ali sada je savršeno vreme da pogledamo kako se od tada razvilo u boci. 

Sa elegantnom nijansom granata i grimizno-rubinskim obodom, ovaj dragulj odiše primamljivim aromama kupine, sitne pomalo gorkaste šljive, crne ribizle i dodirom ruzmarina.

Prava elegancija dolazi do izražaja na nepcu sa notama kupine, šljive, amarena trešnje, cimeta te nagoveštaja brusnice i sladića nošenih nežnim mineralnim podtonom od početka do (poduže) završnice. Divno integrisana kiselost.

Čak i sa svim prisutnim alkoholom, vino je više burgundske strukture i na kraju otkriva – kao i njegov prezimenjak – prelepu sposobnost starenja.

In honour of the world’s greatest tennis player and his recent Olympic gold medal triumph, what better than to taste Novak Djokovic’s Syrah 2020.

From the young vines of his vineyards planted in Serbia’s Šumadija region, this wine was actually released in the Fall of 2022 – but now is a perfect time to look at how it has developed in the bottle since then. 

With its elegant garnet hue and crimson-ruby rim, this gem exudes enticing aromas of blackberry, damson plum, blackcurrant and a bit of rosemary. Real elegance comes through on the palate with notes of blackberry, plum, amarena cherry, cinnamon and hints of lingonberry and liquorice carried by a gentle mineral undertone from start to (lengthy) finish. Wonderful acidity integration.

Even with its confident alcohol, the wine is more Burgundian in structure, and ultimately reveals – like its namesake – beautiful ageability.   |
