Njegov složeni nos prostire se čistim mirisima voćnih cvetova, bašte sa začinskim biljem i zrele činije voća sa crvenim i crnim bobicama i šljivama. Prisutna je fina nota kedra. 

Ukus je zreo, postojan, sa osetnom strukturom ali elegantnom suvoćom koja omogućava čistim voćnim notama - naru, borovnici i kupini - da se istaknu i zablistaju u nežno slanom začinskom okviru. 

Topli dašci paprike i kajenskog bibera pojavljuju se na kraju nepca i u završnici; dodiri karanfilića i crnog bibera pojavljuju se takođe. 

Ova fina, još uvek sveža desetogodišnja lepotica nastaviće da zaista veoma dobro stari.

Merlot from Serbia’s Negotinska Krajina?  And from 2015?   Yes, indeed.  And this one is distinctive and lovely!  

Its complex nose wafts with clean scents of orchard blossoms, an herb garden, and a ripe fruit bowl of red and black berries and plums. A fine cedar note as well.  

The palate is ripe, lean and textured, yet with an elegant dryness that allows the clean fruit notes – pomegranate, blueberry and blackberry – to come forth and shine within a gentle saline and spice frame. 

Warm dashes of paprika and cayenne appear on the end palate and in the finish; touches of clove and black pepper show up, too. 

This fine, still-fresh 10-year-old beauty will continue to age very well indeed.   |
